Update

Adding some more really good media coverage:

The Southampton picnic received some good coverage in the Southampton Daily Echo under the heading of "'Not Back To School Picnic' showcases opportunities for children who learn at home'
The article doesn't seem to be available online but the picnic organizers found it well researched, making good use of the material they had provided, with four photos taken at the Southampton picnic.
There is also a great picture of Dr Alan Whitehead MP, blowing bubbles with the children, which was referred to earlier but I hadn't seen properly until today here (nice community website you have there, Portswood).

The Totnes picnic made the front page of the Totnes Times (weekly) with an excellent, positive article and a couple of great photos. You have to pay 35p via PayPal to read it. Well done Totnes picnickers, lovely coverage!

The Stroud (Glos) picnic is covered well here, with good points made about how these changes could affect how home education happens. Well done to them, I know they got very good pre-picnic publicity too.

The penultimate Not Back To School Picnic took place in Ewell, Surrey, yesterday and apparently went well, with 18 families turning up including new people who joined their local group - I've also added their report to the list.
