Bradford have the honour (!) of holding our last Not Back To School Picnic (this year...). Hope they all have a lovely time this Monday and good weather! Will be thinking of you and look forward to hearing how it went.

Meanwhile, down here in East Sussex, the MP for Hove and Portslade, Celia Barlow, has gone ahead as promised and arranged a small informal meeting next week for a few local home educators with herself and Diana Johnson, Parliamentary Under Secretary of State with responsibility for Schools in the Department for Children, Schools and Families. We're hoping this will be a good opportunity to get our message straight to someone in the Department.

Finally, well done to everyone who sent off their Submissions to the Select Committee yesterday! I think there's a lot of sleep to be caught up on over the next few days.
